Top Tips For Perfect Brows At Home

If you can’t wait to book an appointment for semi permanent eyebrows in Hull you’re going to have to wait a little longer until we’re able to reopen. But that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on your look in the meantime.

There are some simple tricks and tips you can use to get your eyebrows looking fantastic with just some makeup.

As makeup artist Aurelia Rangata recently told The Review Online, you don’t need naturally thick eyebrows to get that look as long as you use the right makeup and techniques.

Start by taking a brow brush - or you can use an old mascara brush if you don’t have a brow brush to hand - and brush your brows upwards. This not only helps to shape them in the way that you want, but it will also show you where your brows are uneven.

If you notice any sparse areas, you can fill these in using a pencil. Make sure that you use short, dash-like strokes that mimic the hairs in your brows. Ms Rangata said that it’s worth taking the time to find a shade that’s a good match for your natural colouring.

You can add further definition by getting a similarly coloured pressed powder and using an angled brush to apply it to your brows. Ms Rangata’s top tip is not to make the ends of your brows too pointy.

Before you apply any more makeup, use a coloured hair gel to set your brows. Just brush them through a couple of times to soften any harsh lines before you apply a small amount of gel using a brush.

One person you might want to emulate in the eyebrow department is Kate Middleton. We recently shared some advice on how the Duchess’ look, with one of the top tips to avoid the temptation to pluck around the top of your brows.
