Eyebrows help to frame the face, which is one reason why we like to keep them in shape. But during the lockdown things have been different, and we’ve been unable to go get out usual brow treatments.
If you’re not convinced of how important our brows are to how we look, then a pic posted recently by Kourtney Kardashian should help change your mind! While we might not be able to get to the beauty parlour yet, we have some tips to help improve your lockdown eyebrow game!
Your brows should always be symmetrical, and to get that right, you must know your face shape. If you have a square face, then you want curved brows to give a softer look. Thin brows will make your face look wider.
Similarly, if you have a round face, make sure the arch of your eyebrow is as high as it can get so that they help accentuate your features.
Invest in a good spoolie brush and tweezers, and then go slow with your plucking. After plucking out a few strands, take a step back and evaluate your progress.
If you do experience itching and redness after threading or tweezing, then have an ice cube ready to apply over the area.
Maybe the most challenging part, but also the most fun is filling in your eyebrows so they not only look on fleek but thicker too. Use a lighter shade of eyebrow pencil, gel, or pomade and make thin strokes.
Keep combing your brows with a spoolie brush and spread the product so your eyebrows look natural.
You can divide your brows into three sections: The centre, middle, and end. The centre area is where your brows would meet (if you have a unibrow!). Make them look perfect by keeping them even. If there is too much gap between, it can make your face look wide, and a narrow gap makes your face look snatched and your nose sharp and thin.
