Ladies will be familiar with the struggle of trying to have a shower without ruining their make-up, but now there could be the solution with a simple gadget.
US entrepreneur Sheridan has launched a shower shield – available on Amazon for just £12 – that is worn over the face to keep water away while having a wash.
Sheridan was sick and tired of having her make-up ruined every time she had a shower with her full face on, saying: “I started this company after standing in the shower countless times using my hands as a makeshift shield in an attempt to protect my previously applied make-up … from getting ruined.”
She went on to say: “It quickly became part of my beauty regime and saves me countless times when I’m in a rush or just want a shortcut in getting ready.”
As well as protecting make-up, the shower shield can also be used for those have just had facial surgery, eyelash extensions or microblading in Hull.
One user who has reviewed the product was quoted by The Sun as saying: “OMG, what a great invention!!! It’s protecting my microbladed eyebrows beautifully. Works perfect!!!! [sic]”
This item will be particularly useful to ladies who are never seen without their make-up on, including Dolly Parton.
The country music star told the New York Times recently that she goes to bed covered in facial products.
“You never know if you’re going to be somewhere in a hotel and there’s going to be a fire,” the 73-year-old told the publication.
