Cara Delevingne is one of the celebrities with the most enviable eyebrows. There are probably thousands of women around the world who want to emulate her look, and plenty who would consider microblading eyebrows in Hull to try and come close.
But, like many of us, we always want what we can’t have and the star recently revealed that it took her time to love her brows.
Speaking to InStyle, the model and actress revealed that she hated her eyebrows when she was a kid, but said that her mum always told her they were her best feature.
“I was like “they look like giant slugs on my face and you think they’re my best feature?” [Laughs] I wanted small eyebrows, and I’d try to tweeze them down,” Delevingne added. .
She continued that she doesn’t understand why, as women, we always want what we can’t have. But she admitted that it wasn’t until other people started appreciating her eyebrows that she began to change her opinion of them.
“We want to be skinnier, we want to be taller, we want to have a big bum. Those are fads, and real beauty is from within,” she asserted.
If you’re keen to boost your brows though, you might want to take a look at some of the tips offered by Instagram star and Glamour columnist Elle McNamara, who’s behind Bambi Does Beauty.
Writing for the magazine she recently offered some advice on how to grow and maintain brows. She recommends using a good brow growth serum if you want to encourage regrowth, while she revealed she always has a brow brush and clear brow gel for the odd touch up during the day.
