4 Top Tips For Glowing Skin This Winter

Autumn has officially begun, so now’s the time to review your skincare regime to make sure that it’s up to scratch to help keep your skin looking lovely and healthy over the colder months.

Terrible weather, with lots of wind, rain and snow, can really take its toll on our skin, as can all that central heating, late nights and partying that takes place during the festive season, so skincare has never been more important than right now.

Exfoliation should always be a regular part of your daily skin regime, but it’s especially important during the winter to help prevent the buildup of dead skin cells, which can leave your face looking dull, tired and flaky. Aim to exfoliate two or three times a week, but make sure you treat your skin gently to avoid causing damage.

Proper hydration is an absolute must at this time of year, as well - and this starts from within, so make sure that you drink enough water throughout the day. But for your skin, use a hydrating moisturiser day and night to give your face a beautiful healthy glow throughout the winter.

And if you feel like you need a bit of a boost, you can always turn to a bit of self-tan to give you that sunkissed look without having to go on holiday. Once you’ve reached your desired shade of tan, apply your product once a week or so to maintain the look.
