We’ve seen a lot of weird and wonderful eyebrow trends in recent years, and while the likes of feathered eyebrows might make a splash on Instagram, they’re not practical or likely to catch on in the mainstream.
This follows on from the move towards thick, well-sculpted brows that we’ve been seeing in the past couple of years. And for anyone who’s over-plucked their brows in the past, microblading, which is a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo, has come to the rescue.
Eyebrow contouring, however, involves using makeup to ensure you have clean edges, accentuated arches and tapered tails on your brows, Hannah Mutze, national brow artist at Benefit Cosmetics, told Marie Claire.
She added: “The clue is in the name as this brow works to lift, frame and contour your facial features! Think eye brightening, nose-slimming and face lifting,” Ms Mutze asserted.
Before you try to create the perfect contour brow, you may want to book microblading in Hull to get your eyebrows looking their best.
The magazine also offered a few tips on how to get this look right. Among them is to use an ombre colour on your brow, making it lighter at the front and darker at the back, as well as to ensure that your eyebrows always taper to a neat point.
If you’re looking to up your beauty game this autumn, there are a number of trends you could embrace. To make your eyes really pop, try using white eyeliner instead of your go-to black.
